What is Rent-To-Own?

Rent-To-Own is not the same as financing! There's no 3rd party bank, no credit check, and no hassle. There's no contract that locks you in at a specific rate, so there's no penalty for paying early or returning the merchandise. Plus, at Gill's, we give you 120 days same-as-cash - that's 4 months interest free! 

Is It Like a Credit Card?

Rent-To-Own isn't like having a credit card. There's no annual fee, and once you pay it off, you're done! Since Gill's doesn't check your credit, there's no worry about lowering your credit score if you close your account with us. Simply let us know beforehand, and we'll take care of the rest. 

This Sounds Too Good To Be True.

Rent-To-Own can sound scary and complicated! But with the right people helping you, it can be the best solution for your large purchases. The employees at Gill's have been helping customers for decades and are trained to make your transactions as smooth as possible. The cold hard facts are: No credit check, 120 days same-as-cash, easy monthly payments, free delivery and set-up. That's it! No nonsense and no run-around! Gill's truly makes rent-to-own the comfortable way to pay. 

Do You Deliver?

We do! Currently we are excited to be able to service Albany, Leesburg, Dawson, Sylvester, Baconton, Camilla, and Cordele. When you shop at Gill's, you can take it easy, since our delivery and set up is all complimentary.

Why Won't It Let Me Pay Online?

Please make sure your information is correct upon logging into the PaymentVision website. Your login information is you customer number preceded by "001-" (eg. "001-12345"). Your password is the last 4 digits of the main account holder's social security number. If you are logged in correctly and are not able to make a payment, please note that online payments are not accepted late. Late payments must be made in person or over the phone. You must also pay the minimum payment online, as no partial payments are accepted through PaymentVision. You will also need to make separate payments for each of your agreements, if you have multiple agreements. What If I Change My Mind?

When you open a rent-to-own agreement with Gill's, you're not locked into a contract. Of course we hope that you love the merchandise you have picked out and would like to keep it! But we also understand that life happens and you may either change your mind or might not be able to pay for your merchandise anymore. As long as you are up to date on your payments, please feel free to call us to set up a return at no penalty to you.

Why Wasn't I Approved?

There are a multitude of reasons for an application not being approved. Unfortunately, we aren't able to disclose that information. We don't do credit checks, so likely it was a hiccup with the information you provided. If you leave us a self-addressed stamped envelope, the management will promptly mail you a response. The good news is, the applications are free so you are able to try again when it is more convenient for you.
